AMA Honors Moul For 'US TOO' Support

BETHESDA, Md--Judd W. Moul, MD, director of the Center for Prostate Disease Research (CPDR), established by Congress in 1991, has been awarded the American Medical Association's Young Physicians Section Community Service Award for his role in helping to establish prostate cancer patient support groups within the military health-care system.

Dr. Moul, an Army physician and urologist, was instrumental in establishing a charter chapter of US TOO, the prostate cancer support group, at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC, in 1991. Since then, the chapter has become the largest prostate cancer support group in the United States. Dr. Moul is also an advisor to the US TOO International, Inc. organization.
