awarded grants totaling $794 million to the 50 states, the District
of Columbia, and two US territories, to improve access to primary
care, support services, and medications for HIV-infected individuals
and their families.
The sum includes $528 million for assistance in paying for HIV
medications for more than 78,000 HIV-positive, low-income patients.
