D. Synaptophysin
Answer 2
D. Paraganglioma, gangliocytic
Comment
Paragangliomas are unusual tumors of the gastrointestinal tract. They occur more often in adult individuals who may present with symptoms of abdominal pain, obstruction, and bleeding.
The tumor has a predilection for the duodenum, although it has also been described in other areas of the small intestine.
Complete surgical resection is the treatment of choice and the prognosis is excellent. However, in some cases metastatic disease to lymph nodes has been described.
