Comment
Thymomas are among the most common epithelial neoplasm of the anterior mediastinum.
Although the tumor may be present in completely asymptomatic patients, the tumor has also been associated with many other conditions, namely myasthenia gravis.
Although, there is controversial information about the best way to predict prognosis, current information appears to correlate clinical behavior with staging of the tumor at the time of diagnosis.
