Dr. Francis Giles

The Cancer Therapy and Research Center (CRTC) along with The Univesity of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio have appointed Francis J. Giles, MD, MB, vice president and director of The Institute for Drug Development. Dr. Giles will hold the AT&T Distinguished Chair in Drug Development and will also serve as chief of the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology.

Dr. Louis Munoz

The American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO) has chosen Louis Munoz, MD, as its 2007 president. Dr. Munoz is medical director of the Division of Radiation Oncology and chairman of the Radiation Research Committee for Texas Oncology, a division of US Oncology. He has been affiliated with ACRO for more than 10 years, serving as vice president in 2005.
