MELVILLE, New York—InTouch magazine, the Good Health Guide to Cancer Prevention and Treatment, has joined forces with the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). Beginning with the May 2002 issue, ASCO will contribute a regular page to the magazine, which is published six times a year.
"InTouch is committed to providing cancer patients and their families with comprehensive information on cancer prevention and treatment options," said managing editor Randi Londer Gould. "Teaming with ASCO adds strength to our efforts and broadens the scope of the resources we provide for our readers."
The new feature combines the oncologist-approved cancer information patients rely upon from InTouch with the latest news from ASCO, the world’s leading organization representing physicians who treat people with cancer. The debut column will highlight ASCO’s patient information materials and online resources, including ASCO’s new cancer information website, People Living With Cancer, scheduled to launch in May.
