Digital imaging solutions provider Viztek will debut at RSNA 2012 a new RIS that is certified for the federal meaningful use incentives program.
Viztek’s Opal-EHR achieves complete certification for meaningful use and provides fully integrated ordering physician and patient portals, the company said. Enhancing the functionality of Viztek’s Opal-wRIS platform, the new system lets reading physicians access all patient information in the practice. The system integrates with Viztek’s Opal-RAD PACS and includes all new meaningful use measures.
Viztek will also highlight its new Dynamic System for managing fluoroscopy sub-types, including gastrointestinal, pediatrics, injections, tomography, arthrography, interventional radiography, urogenital, and DSA. The machine delivers ultra-fast throughput of high-quality DR images. The product can support patients up to 584 pounds, can be lowered to an 18.9-inch horizontal tabletop height and offers 79 inches of patient coverage.
