New radioactive diagnostic agents for use with PET imaging are improving identification of beta-amyloid, the brain plaque associated with Alzheimer’s disease. But there are some concerns that radiologists and technologists don’t have enough training to accurately read these PET studies. To optimise minimum experience for license to interpret PET in Alzeimer's is 6 weeks training or minimum exposure to 100 pet scans
