A 63-year-old man with neuroendocrine tumor (NET) metastatic to the liver undergoes magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for evaluation of response to therapy. The patient reports an episode of left upper quadrant pain (unrelated to trauma) that occurred several weeks earlier. Noncontrast (left) and postcontrast (right) T1-weighted images with fat suppression are available for review.
