The faculty consider what level of follow-up they consider meaningful for a one-time therapy, pointing to the International Myeloma Working Group consensus benchmark of sustained minimal residual disease (MRD) negativity with imaging negativity. They speak on this in regards to current data as well as upcoming data that they are interested to see, such as CARTITIUDE-4, CARTITUDE5 and CARTITUDE-6. One panelist sees patients at least monthly early on after CAR-T infusion, then less often once MRD and PET negativity are reached. One panelist discusses how he manages shared care of patients with his community colleague. Other panelists discuss how they follow up with patients at their practices as well.
