In this video, Fumiko Chino, MD, of Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, discusses a study that examined changes in insurance status among cancer patients who received radiation therapy after implementation of the Affordable Care Act, both in States that expanded Medicaid and in those that did not.

Chino presented the results of the study (abstract LBA-15) at the 2017 American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) Annual Meeting, held September 24–27 in San Diego.
